Skeleton Key Necklace with Golden Hills Turquoise

Skeleton keys open many doors, symbolizing new beginnings, limitless opportunities, and the freedom of open roads. Throughout history, they have been universal, powerful symbols representing access and closure. It can be the key to your heart, unlocking your inner strength, discovering hidden wisdom. In addition to unlocking doors, keys also lock doors and can be a reminder to set boundaries, lock away negativity, or keep a secret between friends.

This design was inspired by a skeleton key I found in an antique store during a visit to New York City several years ago. Beautiful Golden Hills turquoise is accented with a hand-carved design. The key is crafted with sterling silver and hangs from a 20" sterling silver rollo chain that sets on your chest, close to your heart.

The pendant measures 0.75" w x 2"h (18mm x 50mm) with bail.

All items are crafted with care in my Texas studio. Ships packaged in a muslin bag and box, perfect to give as a gift or to treat yourself.

The Golden Hills mine is located in Kazakhstan and was just recently discovered in 2013. Even though it is new to the market, it is still rare since it can be only mined in the winter due to weather conditions in the area.
