Sizing

Rings

Please have your ring size before ordering. If you need help, I recommend visiting a local jeweler, which is the best way of getting an accurate size. Ring sizers are also available on Amazon. Your fingers can change sizes during the seasons or even throughout the day, so it's important to measure at different times during the day to determine your best fit.

Bracelets: How to Measure Your Wrist

Use a flexible tape measure, wrap it around your wrist just above the wrist bone, and measure where the end overlaps on your wrist. It should be wrapped around the wrist snugly, but not too tightly. If you don't have a tape measure, use a string or strip of paper, mark where the end overlaps on your wrist, and measure with a ruler. Knowing your wrist size is recommended when shopping for leather and metal bracelets.

Tape measure wrapped around wrist showing 5.5" measurement

The wrist in the photo measures about 5.5", so that would be the exact size to select on the order for custom cuffs. Use the same method to measure your own wrist. IMPORTANT: Do not add to the measurement, otherwise your bracelet may be too big.

If you are shopping for pre-made cuffs, it’s important to keep in mind you’ll want to make sure there is some extra room in the cuff so it’s not too tight when worn, but you also don’t want it to be too loose. About an additional 1/2” from your wrist size is usually a good fit, but it also depends on if you prefer to wear your bracelets tighter or looser. The silver cuffs offered here tend to have a 1” opening, so it’s important to include that in the measurement as well when considering if a cuff will fit. Some silver cuffs are slightly adjustable, but it’s not recommended to adjust them often as it can weaken the metal.

  • Two closure options for leather bracelets - left side is a bracelet with a button snap on a wrist and the right side is a bracelet with adjustable lace up corset tie.

    Leather Bracelets

When ordering custom-sized leather bracelets, please provide your exact wrist size. You do not need to add to the measurement. Your piece will be sized to ensure a comfortable fit. If you add to your wrist size, the bracelet may end up too big. Some leather bracelets have an adjustable lace-up corset option or slipknot option with a suede lace tie. These are great options for gift-giving or if you prefer an adjustable bracelet over a button snap. If you have any questions about ordering, I'm happy to help, please contact me.
